On October 21, 2019, Khan Academy Tamil Multimedia Classroom Program was implemented in Government High School, Periyagaram at Vellore District by Vetrivel Foundation.

Government High School is located at Periyagram village which is 52 km away from Vellore. In each and every standard, the strength isaround 25-35 students.. All standards(6th to 10th) have  only one section. Students are coming from 8 villages around the Periyagaram village. Teachers are coming from the surrounding villages. There is bus facility from surrounding villages to reach the school. There are 8 teachers working in the school. (HeadMaster, 7 teachers). The teachers and students said that the new TamilNadu syllabus is very useful. In this school, they provide a healthy meals under the Noon Meal Programme of TamilNadu government.

On behalf of Vetrivel foundation, our employee Mr. Thangaraj gave a banner containing the details of sponsors, flash drives containing Maths, Science educational videos, a UPS system  and a television to the school headmaster. Students from different classes watched some of our videos and enjoyed.

Then the principal of the school Mr. Ravichandran gave a small speech and thanked our Vetrivel foundation and India Team who sponsored for the implementation. The teachers conveyed their gratitude and hopes that the strength of their school will increase because of this Khan Academy Tamil multimedia classroom program.
