On February 19, 2020, Khan Academy Tamil Multimedia Classroom Program was implemented in R. C. Bethany Primary School, Kandasamipuram at Tuticorin District by Vetrivel Foundation. 

This Primary school is 2 km away from Tuticorin bus stand. In total there are 106 students, 56 girls and 50 boys. Students are coming from an area with a radius between 2 and 6 kilometers and from 4 villages. With the funds contributed by the school teachers, they arranged auto facilities for the students and paid for sweepers. They said that the Samacheer syllabus is very useful and they are using Diksha videos through Mobile phones. 

On the implementation, our staff Mr. Praveen reached Tuticorin at 6 am. From there he collected the television from the courier office and reached school with TV in an auto at 10. 30 am. Then he called the battery shop and they came and installed the multimedia setup. Then they installed the TV and they arranged some students from different classes. Around 12. 30 pm some friends of sponsor came to school and started the implementation. On behalf of Vetrivel foundation, our employee Mr. Praveen gave a banner containing the details of sponsors, flash drives containing Maths, Science educational videos and a television to the school headmaster. With the presence of the school headmistress, our staff Mr. Praveen presented our Khan academy Tamil Maths videos to the students and also he gave a demo to the teachers about how to use this multimedia system. The students were very excited to watch the videos. Students from different classes watched some of our videos and enjoyed themselves.  Around 1.30 pm the implementation programme was completed. After that they provided lunch to our staff Mr. Praveen and he had a talk with the headmistress and students.

Then the principal of the school Sr. K. Antoniyammal and Mrs. Josephine Nirmala Sumathi gave a small speech and thanked our Vetrivel foundation and Mr. Mr.Theiventhiran Murugan(student of R.C. Bethany School in the year 1992 – 1993) and Family who sponsored the implementation. The teachers conveyed their gratitude and hope that they can increase their school strength with this Khan Academy Tamil multimedia classroom programme.
