On 10.09.2019, Multimedia Classroom Program was implemented in Government Higher Secondary School, Renukondapuram at Thiruvannamalai District by Vetrivel Foundation.
Government Higher Secondary School is located at Padavedu which is 20 km away from Aarani and 7 km away from Sandhavasal. The name Padavedu came from the history of the Goddess Renugai.
Government Higher Secondary School, Renukondapuram started in 20.08.1984 and was upgraded to Higher Secondary school on 19.07.2017. Most of the parents of the students are farmers and they work on a daily basis. Students come from almost 20 villages around Padavedu. School conducts special classes for 10th and 12th students from 5 pm to 9.30 pm. There are a total of 24 teachers and 873 students in the school.
On the day of our implementation, Mrs. Jayakumari the principal of the school inaugurated the digital classroom. And she conveyed her gratitude to Vetrivel foundation and to We Reach Out team, who sponsored for the Multimedia Classroom Program in their school. She also thanked Mr. Jerry, Mr. Sriram and Mr. Balasubiramaniyan who helped for this implementation. On behalf of students, principal conveyed his wishes to Mr. Chokkalingam, founder of Vetrivel foundation.
On behalf of Vetrivel foundation, our employee Mr. Thangaraj gave banner containing the details of sponsors, flash drives containing Maths, Science educational videos, a UPS system and a television to the school headmaster.
On behalf of school students, teachers conveyed their gratitude to Vetrivel foundation. And they hoped that the strength of the school would increase because of this multimedia classroom program.
